Game Master Access Map:
This map is to help out both first time Game Masters
(GMs) and returning GMs in accessing the easiest way
into and out of the Lancaster Host.
The Host is loaded with lots of stairs, some of only
a few steps, some a lot more. The idea of this map
is to help those people bringing large quantities of
gaming materials in and out to avoid as many of these
stairs as possible.
Some carts may be available to assist you, but
you’ll have to check with the Events/GM Desk (where
they hand out the game tickets) where some may be
located. If you do borrow a cart, please return it to
its proper place as quickly as possible so others may
use it as well.
Please note: HMGS is not responsible for any
lost or stolen items, so be careful.
Front Entrance: When puling into the Host
property, you can drive right up to the front
entrance to unload. Here, you can use either the front
doors (double doors and lots of steps), or you can use
the wheel chair access ramp off to the right of the
front doors. This is a long ramp that leads directly
inside the hotel lobby area. Once inside the lobby, walk
towards the front desk; Opposite the front desk
there is an elevator located almost directly opposite the
front desk, that you can take downstairs to the main
gaming areas.
Rear Entrance: When entering the
Host grounds, go to your right, past the front of the
hotel, toward the tennis barn (vendor area). As you
start to go around the front right corner of the hotel,
look to your left to locate the rear loading dock that
leads directly into the back of the Distlefink Ballroom.
You can stop and unload here, park your car, and
return for you stuff. It is best to have a friend watch
it if you can while parking. Go through the back doors
into the Distlefink ballroom to access this, or the other
gaming areas located on this floor.
Lampeter Entrances: Please only use
this entrance if you are bringing materials in to
sell in the flea market, or are participating in the
tournaments located there – as there is no way out of
this room other than using the front steps that lead up
to the front lobby of the hotel.
