The Upper Darby High School Boys Lacrosse Team has adopted a unit of the U.S. Army as part of its new community service program. A Co. 801st BSB of the 101st Airborne Division is made up of 180 men and women who are in the middle of a 15 month deployment in Afghanistan. This is the fourth deployment for this unit in the last six years; the first three were in Iraq. Our team's goal is to provide for these soldiers some of the everyday items that are always in short supply. We are asking you to help us help them. Below is a list of items the troops need. Please bring a donation to our table at HMGS East FALL IN! Saturday Nov. 8 and our players will send it directly to the troops.
